Ahhh!  I’ve been absent for months and I seriously wonder why I even bother to pay for a website…-_- Anyway!!!  I free-handed a cactus last Sunday and have been wanting to share this with all of you.  I hope there are no silly mistakes, but since I am typing this at 12:48am, I’ll keep my fingers crossed.  Please feel free to message me if you spot anything weird!

A little about this pattern:  I’m all for simple and fast-to-make projects and truly believe plushes that take less than an hour to create allow us to satisfy our crochet craving without stealing time from other activities.  If this sounds like you, please read on and give this simple cactus a try! (I am dozing off, so let’s get right into it…and perhaps I’ll edit this blurb later heheh)

TIME NEEDED TO COMPLETE – 30 – 60 minutes

MATERIALS
2.75mm and 3.75mm Crochet Hook
Paintbox yarn in: Evergreen (431) and Banana Cream (421)
Darning Needle
Scissors
Polyester Stuffing
Fabric Glue
Small flower pot (I think I got this a from my local dollar store)

MC – magic circle
sts – stitches
slst – slip stitch
sc – single crochet
sc-inc – single crochet increase

NOTES
This pattern was made in continuous rounds
I prefer to crochet all parts before assembly
I did NOT stuff my cactus; they were simply flattened and sewn on
If you use different yarns to create this, remember to adjust your hook size (Paintbox yarn is a Light Worsted weight yarn)
